Gratitude

You cannot get through a single day without having impact on the world around you. What you do makes a difference. You just have to decide what kind of a difference you want to make. - Jane Goodall

The Blessing - Elephants, Amboseli National Park, Kenya

My final blog post of 2022 is a tribute to you, my readers. I am deeply touched by your support. You show up, read and share my stories. Your comments and feedback give me reason to keep on writing for the protection of African wildlife. ASANTE SANA, THANK YOU!

The results of the print raffle are in. And the winner is …. Bryant S. from Ashville NC!  A big hug and huge thank you to those who bought tickets. Along with proceeds from my book, our community of caring readers raised enough money to fund a 3-day residential conservation camp in Amboseli for 30 kids. Wow, wow, your contributions will make an impact in a child’s life and in turn the wildlife they co-exist with.

Maasai Girls Singing and Dancing

It's been a jam-packed year for me. I am taking the month of January off to rest, reflect and dream new dreams. I’ll be back in February with more stories and new ideas (we’ll see what shows up!). I wish each of you and your families peace and light this holiday season and throughout the new year. There are many signs of hope for our planet. We are stronger together. Remember, when we take care of nature, nature takes care of us.

See you in 2023!
