Tilting towards the New Year

As I track the gradual increase of daylight over our winter landscape here in Ontario, I find myself leaning towards the new year, enjoying the quiet of the season, yet aware of a growing sense anticipation. Next month I’m heading out on safari again. Every time I leave Kenya, I wonder if, or when, I will return. I live my life as if a reunion is assured and tilt my view towards the next adventure on African soil.
